Finding ourselves bouncing back to Queenstown again we felt we couldn’t leave without check out Skyline Queenstown – up in the gondola to really take in the spectacular views over Queenstown and the surrounding area of lakeside and mountaintops. Then we made the most of being up there and got ourselves a family pass of 14 luge rides for a bit of a laugh. There fun little carts, driven only by gravity, so there’s no noise or fumes ! and so easy to drive especially for the kids. So we just cruise down the hill enjoying the amazing views. The kids even loved the chair lifts back up again and again. There’s a lot of other attractions up there like exploring the galaxy by night through telescopes, Ride skyline back down on a mountain bike dirt tracks, and a café and a restaurant / bar for nighttime dinning, but we can’t do it all !
