Last night we stayed at a beachside camp spot called Fortrose, which is right at the southern end of New Zealand. Its so beautifully rugged and very remote, as if times stood still. This morning we awoke to nothing but seaside bird life, – well for a moment, and then crazy kids dilemmas ! We now feel like we’ve found the most peaceful part of NZ with little changed in years but the tides, and a few batches here and there. While here we visited the locale coffee shop, walked the beach couple of times with the kids, ticked off the morning of school work and squeezed in a yoga session before heading off after lunch to Wipapa point – which is a pretty lighthouse just along the coast.
