Another beauty land mark here on the wild southern coastline. A grand lighthouse on Wipapa point to keep the ships safe. We rock pooled on the beach bellow and found a little crab that truly fascinated Isla, leaving her entertained and rock pooling for ages. Allowing a little freedom to relax with Lola and search for the prettiest little stones on the beach, examining the colors and shapes. I feel the southern air is freshest, and the ocean much cooler too! It makes a change to be near the sea again after so long by the lakes – I can smell the sea air drifting in as the waves break against the rocks ashore.
